home fiction & poetry

Members of Wellesley's faculty have been published poets, writers, artists, and historians since Henry Durant hired his first instructor. Students joined their ranks through College publications, and scores of alumnae have been published in the many decades since Wellesley's first class graduated. Here I will link to the works in my collection that reflect these talents, including Persephone and Other Poems, published for the library fund when the Wellesley library had overflowed its space in College Hall and desperately needed a new building.

Wellesley Lyrics (1896)
